Inspiration Gallery Hall of Fame The design for Polytechnic's Inspiration Gallery Hall of Fame consists of three monumental light-boxes and graphic artwork for the University's Wunsch Admissions Hall and executive office suite. The three transparent mosaics are institutional artifacts embodying the school's roots in 19th century America and its contribution to America's technological ascension in the 20th century. The largest display is a lyrical 19th century stained-glass depiction from the school's original building, built in 1854. One hundred years later Andrew Tobias created two first-of-their-kind "stained plexiglas" murals based on technology developed at Polytechnic's Polymer Research Institute. Graphic artwork adorning the walls depicts institutional archetypes and facilities, past and present. Exhibits |
